MINDFULNESS & MEDITATION

What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness means waking up to our lives. It's the practice of noticing—with acceptance and compassion—what's actually happening in our minds, bodies, and environments. Break free from autopilot and bring the fullness of the present moment into view.

Ground. Calm. Connect.

Mindfulness is "awareness that arises through paying attention, on purpose, in the present moment, non-judgementally." - Jon Kabat-Zinn

Why Mindfulness?

Learn to pause instead of reacting. Replace overwhelm with clarity. Trade self-criticism for self-compassion. When you train in awareness, you develop the resilience to stay present with whatever life brings. You nurture the capacity to choose life with intention.

Meditation

Meditation is mindfulness put into practice. In meditation, we get in touch with ourselves and the world exactly as they are. We train in focus, in noticing, in seeing opportunities, and in being with life exactly as it is. With practice comes clarity, ease, and connection.

Meditation techniques vary widely, addressing different needs, and there is something for everyone:

  • Body Scan Meditation

  • Breathing Meditation

  • Eating Meditation

  • Gratitude Meditation

  • Loving Kindness Mediation (Metta)

  • And More
